About Us

Evergreen Association is a youth-led organization created to bring international opportunities closer to young people. Many of us have experienced how deeply Erasmus+ projects, youth exchanges, and other international programmes can shape our lives, and that is why we want to make these opportunities accessible to more young people.

We believe that international experiences mean much more than travel. They create real opportunities for personal growth. Through each project, participants can meet new people, discover different cultures, and gain new perspectives, while also developing their self-confidence, communication skills, teamwork, and openness toward others.

Our goal is to support young people in becoming more active, confident, and aware members of their communities. We aim to create opportunities that encourage learning, dialogue, initiative, and the building of international connections.

In our work, we place special emphasis on:

  • supporting the personal and social development of young people,
  • promoting international mobility opportunities,
  • strengthening active citizenship and participation,
  • encouraging cultural diversity and openness,
  • and fostering cooperation among young people across Europe and beyond.

For Evergreen Association, internationality is not just a topic but one of the foundations of our work. We believe that encounters between young people from different countries can be inspiring, transformative, and meaningful in the long term. That is why we work to build community, share experiences, and create projects that bring real value to participants.

Veres Kristóf – President

He is currently finishing his last semester in Economics and Management at ELTE. In his free time, he loves exploring the world, playing sports, and volunteering on various projects, which have taught him a lot about teamwork and community building. He also spent six months studying in Finland through the Erasmus program, an experience that truly broadened his perspective.

He is a responsible, hardworking person who genuinely enjoys being part of a team. During his previous work in Hungary’s busiest electronics store, he and his team even managed to set new sales records. His favorite topics are sustainability and sports, and he is always looking for ways to build new, meaningful relationships in everything he does.

Veres Zsófia – Vice president

She is currently a student at BGE and will soon complete her second semester in Human Resources. Traveling around the world and learning about different cultures and languages is her life goal. In her free time, she enjoys reading, playing video games, and writing.

Her love for coffee and her interest in meeting new people also come together in her work, where she has gained experience in sales and customer service. She is trustworthy, hardworking, and responsible, and she is not afraid to stand up for causes such as equality, sustainability, and animal protection. She is always eager to learn and open to new challenges that help her grow both personally and professionally. She values teamwork and believes that collaboration leads to the best results.

Buti Balázs – Projectmanager

Open-minded, active, and versatile, he enjoys trying new things and is always looking for ways to grow. He has already taken part in several projects, so teamwork, new ideas, and fast-paced situations all feel natural to him.

He spent three months in the United States at a children’s summer camp, where he gained valuable experience, met many new people, and proved himself in a completely different environment.

He is currently studying in the Economics Master’s program at ELTE. In his free time, he enjoys doing sports, traveling, and editing videos, as these activities inspire him, help him recharge, and fit well with his creative side.

Simon Zsuzsi – Social Media Manager

As a child, she was an active scout, where she experienced various aspects of group leadership, a close-to-nature nomadic lifestyle, and non-formal education.

During her university years, she discovered the world of Erasmus+. She has participated in numerous youth exchanges and training courses, as well as a short-term ESC (European Solidarity Corps) volunteering project in France. Traveling is her true passion; she loves meeting new people and getting to know different cultures.

In 2025, she graduated with a Master’s degree in Communication and Media Studies, and simultaneously earned a degree in Motion Picture Culture and Media Studies. Since then, she has been working as a social media manager at an agency, and she supports the work of the Evergreen Association in this exact same role.
